Day 1 Luxury Lodge - Maun
Your guide will meet you at Maun airport and drive to your lodge where we will spend the first night. The afternoon will be spent getting acquainted with the 4x4’s, going over 4x4 driving techniques, a GPS orientation course, and a route briefing.
Day 2 -4 Okavango Delta
After a leisurely breakfast we embark on our safari. The first day takes us to the world famous Okavango Delta game reserve. The next 3 nights are spent camping on the delta, exploring the waterways of this stunning game reserve.
The delta is renowned for its wild experiences. Camping on the river’s edge offers some of the most exciting campfire evenings in Africa and promises to be filled with the sounds of lion, hyena, jackal, hippo and elephants.
We spend the next 3 days exploring and photographing this beautiful stretch of water. Be prepared for close up big five encounters as well as numerous water crossings!
Day 5 & 6 Savuti
Depart to Savuti campsite in Chobe National Park which is a few meters from the famous Savuti channel. When flowing, the channel creates a mini delta swampland and becomes the venue for thousands of migratory birds and animals, particularly large herds of zebra. It is also home to the famous “elephant killers of Savuti” a pride of lions that specializes in elephant hunting. The Savuti offers outstanding game viewing and photographic opportunities.
Day 7 & 8 - Chobe
Depart to the Chobe River, where one of the greatest concentrations of game can be found on the African continent. Game viewing is exceptional. This is elephant country, as Chobe has the highest concentration of elephant anywhere in Africa, an estimated 70 000. Chobe is also famous for its huge herds of buffalo and its rich diversity of bird life. The next 2 days will be spent exploring the many river drives and cruising the river banks on one of the many boat cruises available.
Day 9 & 10 Victoria Falls
After 8 days of camping we return to the luxury of a lodge at the mighty Victoria Falls. We spend our first day and evening chilling out and enjoying the spectacle, whilst sipping a welcome cocktail! Evening dinner is served in an open air Boma Restaurant, providing an evening of Zimbabwean culture, entertainment and food to create an unforgettable experience.
Our last day is spent enjoying the splendor of the Victoria Falls and many of the vast variety of activities available, including: Tour of the Falls, white water rafting, microlight flight over the falls, bungee jumping or high tea at the famous Victoria Falls hotel.
