Safari Legacy (Former Tanzania Photographic Tours And Safaris) is a Destination Management Company based in Arusha-Tanzania with operational offices in Kenya and South Africa and representation offices in Kigali, Mozambique and Addis Ababa.
Chiman Patel - The CEO /Founder built this firm over thirty years ago, pioneering access to such safari legends as Tarangire and the Western Corridor of the Serengeti.
After 40 years in the Safari business, leading and operating safaris of distinction since long before John Wayne came to Africa, Safari Legacy have amassed the experience to allow us to hone our portfolio of safaris to a quality that comes as close to perfection as Africa will allow. Our management team has grown up in the industry, spending the earliest years in the bush and their formative Learning experiences outside of school on safari, before adding the graduate training that provides Safari Legacy with the professionalism and operational precision that is mandatory in the modern safari Industry.
We have endeavored to instill this attention to detail in all aspects of our safari Operations, which are managed with the first world efficiency despite the limitations that remote travel in the African bush can cause. Our safari guides and crews are Hand picked and trained by us to instill the respect for environment, client welfare and customer satisfaction that have seen us through thirty years of change.
Such a span of time gives us unsurpassed experience of running safaris in Africa and of course we have witnessed many changes, but we still experience the same sense of satisfaction on seeing the wonder on the faces of our guests as we escort them around this tremendous animal
playground.
Our Vehicle fleet is maintained in our own workshop to ensure optimum operation standards and each of our Guides is a trained mechanic. Each vehicle is equipped with VHF radios and mobile phones to ensure undeviating contact with our safari Head quarters.
Custom-built four wheel drive Extended Toyota Land Cruisers & Minivans are fully-equipped with radios, a library of reference books, first aid kit, binoculars and other amenities for comfort and safety.
Our safari programs ensure that this cultural and natural heritage is preserved for future. Our portfolio captures the essence of adventure.
